The Role of the Claims Services Department

Hotline 800-252-0555

The Hotline is a benefit of membership. This free and confidential 24-hour service provides you with answers to your urgent risk management and claims questions. If you have a situation that calls for guidance on how to best handle an event, reduce your exposure, and/or best manage the risks involved - call the Hotline. CAP is here to help.

Most importantly, the Hotline provides you with the means to report a claim or an adverse event. The Hotline can also answer a variety of questions that arise in your every day practice.

While the Hotline is a valuable asset and service to our Members, it is not the answer for everything. The Hotline's primary mission is to be a resource for risk management and reporting of incidents, claims, and lawsuits. It can best serve you by observing the following tips on how to use the Hotline.
