Robert B. Fessinger
Robert Fessinger is a 1991 graduate of University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where he was a participant in National Moot Court Competition. As part of his legal training he attended Regents College, Inns of Court, in London, where he studied under Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. His undergraduate studies were completed at California State University, Northridge, where he studied Speech Communications.

Since graduating from law school Mr. Fessinger has specialized in defending health care providers. Among his many credits, he has received the CAP Annual Superstar Award for outstanding achievement in litigation on behalf of its Members.

Mr. Fessinger has experience in every aspect of medical malpractice defense litigation, from case inception through discovery and trial. He has successfully defended physicians in trial and binding arbitration. He also has experience handling class action matters against health care providers.

Prior to joining Schmid & Voiles in 1994, Mr. Fessinger was associated with the law firm of Rushfeldt, Shelley & Drake, known for its defense of doctors and hospitals.
