MEDefense Plus will reimburse you for any legal or audit expense, and/or fines or penalties incurred by you arising out of any proceedings for:
- Billing errors
- Disciplinary actions
- HIPAA violations
- Unprofessional conduct
- Medicare/Medicaid Fraud and Abuse
- Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act Violations
and proceedings instituted by the:
- California Medical Board
- Osteopathic Medical Board of California
- State Department of Health Services
- Federal Department of Health and Human Services
- State or Federal Governmental Non-Regulatory or Regulatory Entity

Application Process
To obtain coverage for MEDefense Plus, please fill out our short application for solo physicians. If you are part of group, please call us to find out group rates.
Please mail the original application to the address below. We will follow up with you to verify the amount of coverage as well as the premium amount.
