Besides representing physicians in lawsuits, our attorneys regularly provide advice and counsel to members for Hotline referrals and represent them when they are required to testify at depositions involving other litigation.

Schmid & Voiles is a strong advocate for California Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act (MICRA) and is recognized as a champion of one of MICRA’s components, arbitration. By enforcing arbitration agreements statewide, Schmid & Voiles has contributed to providing a fair and cost-saving forum for physicians and patients to resolve their disputes.
