PACS

CAP is an organization that equips its members with the best tools to help meet the business challenges related to running a medical practice. As part of that commitment, we strive to ensure that our voice is represented on the public policy issues that affect our company, our industry, our employees and the communities we serve.

One of the tools we have to show support for legislators who share our views is our political action committees, which is supported through member contributions.

CAP PAC's are bipartisan political actions committees, an organization that enables members to have a voice with legislators who make laws and policy that have a direct impact on the way the company does business.

Thank you for considering a CAP Federal Political Action Committee donation today. Your contribution will go a long way--every dollar fuels our mission of protecting access to quality health care.

We continue to educate officials about the positive impact reform has for patients and U.S. health care system. CAP utilizes the resources to stay active on the state and federal level to protect our gains in California. As physician-driven company, more than 40 CAP members throughout the state meet with candidates of both parties to discuss the current threats the U.S health care system and the benefits that MICRA delivers to all Californians.  The message of medicine is always more powerful when delivered by a physician.

The financial contribution of you and your fellow CAP physicians allows us to protect access to quality health care.  CAP and its members are repeatedly challenged by personal injury lawyers who intend to undo the successful medical liability protections in California.  Together we can deliver the message to our elected officials about protecting medical reform and the significance of MICRA.  With your collective support, we can make a difference for the practice of medicine.
